Follow his lead. Easily. Dead or faking it, if I full-heartedly believed he was gone, I would join him instantly. There’s no doubt in my mind for my choices.

all--stories asked: John, don't think like that! Sherlock wouldn't stay away unless he had to and if he took the gun he knew what he was getting in to. Honestly, who can take down Sherlock if he knows they're coming? His phone has just died that's all.

That is true… your point about him knowing they’re coming… but that doesn’t stop him from putting on a show. And faking his own death. And forgetting to tell me it was all just a trick for a “few” goddamned, sodding years.

You know Sherlock. Even I, who loves him and is knowledgeable to everything about him, can be mislead by him. He really can be deceiving sometimes. And forgetful.
