residentfangirl-deactivated2013 asked: Sherlock, are you working on any pieces for the violin?

Other than the one for John (on the nights he has trouble sleeping) I am, yes. There’s around two currently, but really they could be considered as a whole if wished. As for what inspired them, I’m not sure. Boredom, I suppose? John? I haven’t the slightest actually.

mashed-potaylor-blog asked: If you both could create your own world entirely from scratch adding or subtracting what ever you wanted like in the song World by Five for Fighting, what would it be like? (Give the song a listen if you have time it's very pretty)

We listened to the song.

Ugh.

And I’d say my world would be very similar to this one except without wars and with more cases to solve.

More cases to solve without a doubt. Yes. Can we share our world?

Sure.

Less idiotic people Anderson (crimes would be much more fascinating with somewhat smart people doing them), the ability to set anything in the flat on fire without being screamed at, and more jumpers for you.

Seriously? More jumpers?

For you.

Don’t you think I have enough?

No.

Okay then. And for people, if we could change them, Sherlock would stay the same. Exactly.

Oh, how sentimental.

But it’s true.

Nonetheless.

Even when you’re bored. I wouldn’t change that.

Why?

It’s a different side of you - a more childish side. I get to see what Mycroft did all those years back.

Don’t mention him. He's annoying.

So I’ve heard.

Anonymous asked: which marina song(s) did you two listen to?

Ah, a one called Primadonna Girl, I think. Yeah?

Obviously. Look at the evidence.

I’m busy.

John. Please.

Fine, yes, coming.

Splendid.

seeingtheunimaginable-blog-blog asked: Sherlock, I was wondering what your favorite piece of classical music is. All forms of classical music have been my inspiration for playing violin and piano lately. Not to mention they help me think. Also: Hello, John! How are you today?

I don't usually have a one selected piece that I admire most- I use them all at different times for various reasons. My previous response can be found here.

It would be good for you.

The violin? I agree.

Can I come back in then?

I suppose.

My day has been just a bit short of delightful. Sarah didn’t need me at the surgery so I’ve been able to spend sometime with the prattish git (except for the times I’ve been outside and civilians ask me questions. One thought I was waiting for my dog to come home. The other asked if I got into trouble with the wife again, which somehow seems correct). Overall it’s been a decent day. I was able to have Sherlock to eat some eggs this morning.

Dull.

Go away.

Can’t. I’m not allowing the violin out of the flat.

Just.. be nice.

Don’t roll your eyes.

Okay, that’s enough. No need to get angered.

Sherlock, put the knife down.

Oh, but I can’t do that now, can I?

I’m sleeping in my old bedroom tonight.

As if that will help.
